The 60 SCH Data Analytics (DATA) program prepares students to work with large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be used to inform business decisions. Students will learn how to gather data from various sources, use software to clean and organize data, and apply statistical methods and models to analyze and interpret results. Students will also study data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Coursework may cover topics such as database management, data mining, machine learning, and business intelligence. Graduates of a data analytics program may be prepared for careers in fields such as finance, marketing, healthcare, and government.

The mental abilities, expectations, and intensity of instruction required of Data Analytics (DATA) majors are high. Therefore, all DATA major-specific courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better, or obtain approval of the program director before continuing to take courses as a DATA major. A graduate of this program is awarded the Associate of Applied Science degree. A certificate in Data Analytics (DATC) is also offered.
