Plumbing Technology is an intense, hands-on program where you'll get hands-on experience in plumbing and more. If you like solving problems and working with your hands, then join one of the largest and highest paid construction occupations in Texas. As a plumber, you'll be a part of the most stable, best-paying jobs. Plumbers are always in demand, and a good plumber is always appreciated.

You'll spend the majority of your time training in laboratory settings and learning the tools of the trade. As a student in the program, you'll also complete an internship to get valuable experience in the industry.

This program will teach you plumbing skills that you can apply to residential and commercial plumbing systems. You can use these skills in a variety of work environments where plumbing maintenance is needed.

The Plumbing Technology certificate requires 33 semester credit hours of major area courses.  The Program is a 3-semester "hands-on" technical program.

All courses in the Recommended Program of Study require a grade of "C" or better.
