The 60 SCH Associate of Science in Health Sciences is designed for those students who wish to take courses for academic transfer in Biology. Students seeking an Associate of Science in Health Sciences must complete 60 SCH of coursework including the 42 SCH Core Curriculum which will transfer to four-year institutions.

Core Curriculum
Students seeking an Associate Degree must complete the Core Curriculum . The Core Curriculum is required by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Students are required to complete 42 SCH from nine different component areas. Once complete, a student is considered 'Core Complete'.
